   • Yoti Digital ID App: If you have the free Yoti app, you can scan a QR code to securely share a verified "over 18" (or other age) attribute from your digital ID. This doesn't share your exact date of birth, just that you meet the age requirement.
   • ID Document Scan: You might be asked to scan a government-issued ID document (like a passport or driver's license). Yoti verifies the document and extracts your date of birth, then immediately deletes the image.
   • Other Methods: Depending on the situation, other options like credit card checks or mobile provider checks might be available to confirm you are over a certain age.
2. Yoti confirms your age: Yoti's system processes the information you provide to determine if you meet the required age.
3. We get a simple "Yes" or "No": We only receive the necessary information – typically just a confirmation that you are "over 18" (or the specific age required) or your exact age, depending on the service. We do not receive or store your personal identity documents or detailed personal information.
